20 former FedEx kiosks. A second life.
The first POD ON ME fleet starts with 20 retired FedEx drop-off kiosks. They are walk-in, weatherproof shells about 8′×10′, built to stand outside in all seasons, and much larger than a typical office phone booth.
Instead of scrapping them or ordering 20 new shells, we strip each one to the frame and rebuild it as a private room. The pod keeps the kiosk’s footprint and height, so it looks like a refined kiosk and not a shipping container.

What happens to every kiosk.
The same rebuild on every unit, so the fleet looks, works and is serviced the same way.
- Strip the old interior and obsolete hardware
- Repair rust, seams, roof and structural framing
- Re-skin in charcoal metal panels with lit edges
- Fit impact-rated tinted glass and a commercial door
- Build an acoustic interior shell
- Install desk, display, seating, mini water vending and a luggage bay
- Add HVAC, fresh-air intake and exhaust, and filtration
- Add smart lock, tap-to-pay terminal and exterior status screen
- Anchor to an engineered base with hidden utilities
